Learn about EMB
Some of our current projects delivered by East Midlands Business Limited
The forestry training fund
We’re working with DEFRA and the Forestry Commission on the administration of a new grant fund increasing the number of individuals with forestry and woodland management skills. This was designed to support a significant increase in tree planting and funded by the Nature for Climate Fund, ensuring that we will have enough people with the right skills to plan, plant and manage new woodlands as part of the UK push toward net zero.
Legal Aid Training Grant scheme
Ministry of Justice awarded EMB this contract with a brief to support them to develop and design awarding criteria for the scheme, alongside a competition for grant funding, as well as to deliver the competition, collect evaluation and monitoring data form grant recipients, and process monthly grant claims for payment.
Supporting growing businesses in Lincolnshire
Working with Lincolnshire County Council and a range of local authority partners, our team of local business advisers are working with early stage, established and scale-up businesses across all sectors, with specialist advisers supporting established priority sectors like agriculture, manufacturing and the visitor economy, and the emerging digital sector.
Listed places of worship grant scheme
DCMS awarded EMB this contract with a brief to create a new website and digitise the grant application process while retaining offline channels and a telephone support line. With a fund of more than £40m per annum, this is a high-volume scheme with a range of users across the digital spectrum supported by Diligenz, our fully integrated grant platform.
Memorials Grant Scheme
The Memorials Grant Scheme contract is delivered by EMB on behalf of DCMS and compliments the Listed Places of Workshop Grant scheme.
The contract was awarded to EMB with the brief to create a new website and a digitised grant application process. With an annual fund of £0.5m, the scheme operates via Diligenz, our fully integrated grant platform.
Large-scale programme design and delivery
Although the UK has left the EU, a number of EU legacy projects focussed on SME growth continue during 2023, relying on the specialist knowledge of ERDF that we’ve gathered through the design, development and hands-on delivery of a range of projects dating back over the past decade.
