D2N2 Capital Growth Fund

The D2N2 Capital Growth Fund offered capital grant support to small and medium-sized enterprises investing in the Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham & Nottinghamshire areas, with grant funding of between £1,500 and £10,000 available up to a maximum of 30% of eligible project costs.

Key features of the Fund:

​

• Will cover capital costs – for example machinery, equipment, IT hardware but cannot support vehicle purchases.

• Will not cover revenue costs such as wages, rent, marketing or general running costs.

• Businesses must be able to demonstrate that they are already trading and have the potential to create a minimum of one new job as a result of their investment project.

• Projects are expected to start within 3 months and be completed within 6 months of application.

• Expenditure with any one supplier cannot exceed £24,999.

During the lifetime of this project, over £762,000 has been provided in grant funding to over 160 SME businesses located across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, resulting in the creation of over 200 new jobs.

European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funding from the D2N2 LEP will increase the amount of grant funding available from each of these Programmes, enabling the sponsoring organisation to provide more intensive support and/or support a greater number of businesses wishing to invest in innovation and growth and create new jobs. Grants range from £1,500 to £500,000.
 

 

Greater Lincolnshire Digital Grant Programme

 

The Greater Lincolnshire Digital Grant Programme offered grant support to small and medium-sized enterprises located in Greater Lincolnshire, with grant funding of between £1,000 and £10,000 available to a maximum of 50% of eligible project costs.

Key features of the Fund:

​

• Will cover capital expenditure for businesses that want to invest in digital technology products and services that will enable them to grow and create new employment in digital markets.

• Will not cover revenue costs such as wages, rent, marketing, or general running costs.

• Businesses must be able to demonstrate that they are already trading and have the potential to create a minimum of one new job as a result of the investment project.

• Projects must be able to complete by no later than 31st March 2023.

• Expenditure with any one supplier cannot exceed £24,999.
