EMB accredited as both a Living Wage and a Living Pension employer

EMB Group has been proud to have been accredited by the Living Wage Foundation as a Living Wage employer for several years. More recently we’ve also been accredited as a Living Pension Employer.

The Living Pension is a voluntary savings target for employers who want to help workers, especially those on low pay, to build up a pension pot that will provide enough income to meet basic everyday needs in retirement. It launched in March 2023.

The Living Pension savings target is 12% of a full time Living Wage worker’s salary, of which the employer pays in at least 7%. This builds on auto-enrolment, where the employer is only required to contribute 3%.

Everyone working at EMB Group receives an employer's pension contribution of 10% of their annual salary, alongside the employee's contribution of a minimum of 2%. EMB Group also operates a Pension Salary Sacrifice scheme, encouraging employees to contribute more than the minimum in a tax efficient way. This is just one of the benefits that we offer our people, reflecting their critical role as the heart of our business.
