Sales Co-ordinator

£20,000 pa + commission plus excellent benefits

EMB Excellence Ltd is a leading business support company that delivers a range of business improvement services, including Investors in People (IIP) across Central England (East Midlands, West Midlands and East of England), to organisations and their leaders, to optimise their performance and help them achieve their full potential. The Sales Coordinator will be targeted to engage initial enquiries, qualify and prioritise the lead’s actual level of interest and signpost them to an appropriate lead pathway and will be responsible for nurturing the lead’s progress to service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To identify the purpose and intent of initial enquiries of organisations investigating Investors in People

• To qualify new business leads exploring the benefits of Investors in People

• To develop and maintain an effective engagement strategy in support of the Investors in People sales through the portfolio of services

• To build strong communication channels supporting ongoing engagement and discussion with new business pipeline of clients

• To effectively refer qualified leads with relevant intelligence to the Field Sales Team facilitating further progression

• To populate the EMB-X CRM accurately with all client interactions

• To provide evidence of achievement to monitor performance

• To work closely with the Marketing & Events Team in delivering the EMB-X marketing plan

• Contribute to the overall success of EMB-X by building a shared knowledge and understanding of business issues within the geographical and sector remit of EMB-X

The successfully appointed Sales Coordinator will have the proven experience in a telesales / telemarketing environment and experience in working in a B2B communication role supporting the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Skills and Experience Required Essential:

• Proven experience in a tele-sales / tele-marketing environment

• Excellent interpersonal and conversational skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong understanding of business processes and organisational acumen

• Experience of working in a B2B communication role supporting the public, private and voluntary sectors

• Results oriented

• Self-starter but able to work flexibly with a team

• Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately both verbally and in writing to Senior Managers

• End user CRM competent

• Conversant with on-line analytical tools

• Good IT Skills


• Knowledge of organisational development models/standards, e.g. Investors in People, ISO, Business Excellence Model, Balanced Scorecard, National Training Awards

• Current driving licence and access to car
